For the next couple of days, around sunset in the Northern Hemisphere, Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks, aka Devil Comet, will be visible to the naked eye down and left from Jupiter. If you miss it, Devil Comet will be back in 2095.

Then the earthquake jokes rumbled on for several hours.

This week's game between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils began with all 10 skaters squaring off in a line brawl at the opening face-off. The fans expected heavyweights Matt Rempe and Kurtis MacDermid to mix it up. Still, when eight additional players fought simultaneously, it led to ten major penalties and eight game misconducts.

The Rangers won the game 4-3 and swept the season series 4-0.
