A New Political Era

Yesterday's Trump "hush money" verdict and conviction have accelerated this election year's hyper-partisanship.

"The conviction sets a precedent of using legal cases, no matter how sketchy, to try to knock out political opponents, including former Presidents. President Trump has already vowed to return the favor. If Democrats felt like cheering Thursday when the guilty verdict was read, they should think again. NHL Eastern Conference Finals

After a lackluster and disappointing Game 1 loss to the Florida Panthers Wednesday night, the New York Rangers played with grit and intensity to win Game 2 in overtime and even the series. On to Florida for Games 3 and 4.

Class of 2024

After the October 7 atrocities by Hamas and Iran against innocent Israelis, I do not have a sense of humor about the rampant antisemitism and campus protests at colleges across the United States this spring. The New Yorker magazine and cartoonist Barry Blitt shouldn't either.

New York Rangers Win Six Straight

After sweeping the Washington Capitals in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, the New York Rangers won the first two games in the second round at home against the Carolina Hurricanes. And Vincent Trocheck won the second game with a goal in double overtime.
