The NYT published an article yesterday about NATO by veteran journalist Steven Erlanger, the paper's chief diplomatic correspondent for Europe. It led to the following correction.

Smith's book is just as relevant and thought-provoking today.

St. John the Divine Cathedral

We took the train into Manhattan yesterday to join friends for Christmas dinner and an overnight stay on the Upper West Side. This morning, we had coffee and pastries at the Hungarian Pastry Shop, followed by a long visit to St. John the Divine Cathedral. We're now waiting for more friends to join us all for dinner, the snowstorm, and another overnight stay!
