Baseball and Steroids
What a mess. MLB and the Mitchell Report are starting to smack of McCarthyism. MLB knew exactly what was going on when they publicized the home run race a few years ago between McGuire and Sosa. It was all about more fannies in the seats, club and TV revenue. Now, they're shocked, shocked! these stars took drugs to put up the numbers.
And they're not done. According to The New York Times, "in a statement released Saturday, Major League Baseball said, “There are more names on the government list (104) than the maximum number of positives that were recorded under the 2003 program (96).”
Let's play ball.

Yes, it is all about money. And for the players, all it takes is
2-3 years of juicing, put up some impressive numbers, sign the big multi-year contract and then stop using. Isn't that what Papi and A-Rod did?
