Noepe. It means "amid the streams" and is the name Wampanoag Indians gave thousands of years ago to an island in the Atlantic that English explorers visited in the 1500s and 1600s. It is known today as Martha's Vineyard.
Will, I'm awfully curious why you may be choosing this moment to trade Big Blue for the blue waters of Martha's Vineyard -- if, in fact, that's what you're contemplating doing. -- I missed your newspaper recommendations on Facebook. Once you stopped posting them, and once I gave up Lexulous, I had no further reason to visit the site. I'm glad to see that your recommendations now will include your observations about politics, movies and what all. -- Barbara
Barbara - No worries - not trading IBM for the Vineyard. I've been working remotely since June and all's very well on the work front. Thank goodness for technology and progressive employers!
