Les Paul, dead at 94. I always wanted a Gibson Les Paul.His guitars have been played by many of the greatest guitarists, including Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Al Dimeola and Pete Townshend, with the latter often smashing them on stage.
Interesting fact: Les Paul was Steve Miller's godfather and gave him his first guitar lesson.
