The other day I posted about Whole Food's CEO John Mackey's WSJ op-ed on healthcare. Now it's being reported by ABC News that liberals are in an uproar, accusing Mackey of biting the hand that feeds him, and threatening a boycott for his failure to show obeisance to Obama. The conceit here is that liberals think they shop at Whole Foods more than independents and conservatives. Is this because they're smarter and more enlightened?Remember the brouhaha over the Bush administration's and conservatives' response to the Dixie Chicks concert tour damning the war against terrorism? Well, this is the same thing but now we're not talking about terrorism but arugula and ginseng.
