According to
Rasmussen Reports, 57% of Americans would
vote to replace the entire Congress and start all over again.
"One reason for this attitude may be that most voters say they understand the health care legislation better than Congress. Just 22% think the legislature has a good understanding of the issue."
"Three-out-of-four (74%) trust their own economic judgment more than Congress’."
"Just 14% give Congress good or excellent review for their overall performance,
while only 16% believe it’s Very Likely that Congress will address the
most important problems facing our nation."
"Seventy-five percent (75%)
say members of Congress are more interested in their own careers than
they are in helping people. On the brighter side, just 37% say most in Congress have extramarital affairs."

Does it surprise you that people are apt to choose the bathwater over the baby?
Easy for everyone out there to complain and proclaim THEY can do it better.
I'd be curious to know how many of these whining citizens are up to their eyeballs in debt or living chaotic lives?
Well, when Congress writes 1,000+ page bills like the current healthcare bill and then when most admit they don't read or understand it, I think the public is fair in judging their own understanding of their current health care coverage is superior. Once again, Congress complicates when they should simplify.
Frankly, I have to side with the 42% who say a group of people randomly selected from the phone book would do a better job than the current Congress.
